Pitomio, an example of harmful migration, a waste association. ANO, SPD and Motorists have a lot to forgive

“Andrej Babiš is a typical example of the harmfulness of migration to the Czech Republic,” Majerová wrote on the social network X in 2017. In 2021, she again criticized the then Prime Minister Babiš for not being ashamed to say that he disagrees with the ban on combustion engines, when, according to her, he was the one responsible for the Czech Republic joining the Green Deal.

Now she should be one of the 108 votes that Babiš’s new government in the Chamber of Deputies will rely on.

The chairman of the Motorists, Petr Macinka, did not compete with Majerová in terms of statements. He never went far for a sharp word either, but unlike the honorary president of the Motorists, Filip Turk, who is being investigated by the police for racist posts, he limited himself to criticizing his political competitors.

He has called Tomi Okamura a “cheap racist” and a “Pitomie” in the past. He then described the previous government of Andrej Babiš, as well as the current one of Petr Fiala (ODS), as “appalling”.

He also attacked Babiš and Petr Pavel two years ago during the presidential election: “Bureš or Pávek, the difference is zero. Perhaps only in the fact that the confidant Bureš does not make himself Václav Havel, as the agent Pávek does…”

“A bunch of parasites”

The Trikolora party, which ran together with the SPD, also got it from him. “In 2019, Trikolora was a promising project. After the departure of Václav Klaus Jr., however, it is now a pure waste association led by a bunch of parasites who can do nothing and understand nothing. Majerová is worse than Pekarová (quote from an unnamed ex-president). It is no wonder that they let themselves be sucked in by the SPD. Each to his own,” Macinka wrote in 2023.

This January, he repeated his words: “Trikolora is a worthless waste association that Majerová ‘sold’ to Okamura for free with the vision of some kind of newsagent, so it no longer exists de facto. Now you are all just Espéďáčci. Actually, sub-Espéďáčci… Congratulations.”

And he attacked Zuzana Majerová again on an internet television broadcast, where he used vulgar language to insult the politician, which Okamura did not like and wrote about Macinek that she was “shit”.
Babiš and Okamura do not like each other

Neither do Babiš and Okamura have easy relations, as they argued in February 2023 over whether Okamura had tunneled his previous political project, the Úsvit movement. “It is desperately ridiculous how Andrej Babiš is trying to spread a lie that has been refuted a thousand times, just to slander me that I supposedly tunneled the Úsvit movement,” Okamura wrote on the X network.

In 2017, they “got along” on a discussion show on TV Prima, where the ANO chairman called Okamura the male version of Jana Bobošíková.

The SPD leader then repeatedly publicly criticized Babiš for his foreign policy. “Babiš will turn everything down in Brussels,” he wrote, for example, five years ago.

Babiš’s former spokesperson Lucie Kubovičová also spoke about mutual antipathies in the Novinek program Election Season. “There is complete antipathy, animosity on the part of Andrej Babiš towards Tomio Okamura,” she described.
Divorced spouses and former colleagues

The former husband and wife duo of economists Vladimír Pikora and Markéta Šichtařová will most likely also cause suffocation among future coalition deputies. Šichtařová, who ran for the SPD, accused the “motorist” Pikora of brutal domestic abuse last year.

There is also a bad taste between the Motorists and the Free Democrats, whose chairman Libor Vondráček ran for the SPD. He originally discussed a joint candidacy with the Motorists, but in the end they could not agree.

Macinka told Novinka that he had already apologized to Majerová for his words and that relations with other politicians had improved.

“I have personal experience with Andrej Babiš for a year and a half in the European Patriots, which is extremely fair on his part, which I had to appreciate. We learned to talk to each other there and we are trying to achieve the same goals in many respects,” he said. He has known Okamura for many years. “So it was more like a pre-election squabble. But our relationship is fair too,” he added.

Other politicians are now also claiming that they can suppress mutual antipathies. “Personal matters must always be put aside when it comes to our citizens and the future of the Czech Republic. I am able to talk and come to an agreement with anyone if they have the country’s prosperity at heart,” Majerová told Novinka.
